Miami, Florida

I lived in Miami under a scholarship program for about 10 months. What's interesting about Miami is there are always things happen in Miami. All kinds of event, celebration, party, exhibition. Everyday! The sun always shines, the beach is always there, and the party never ends.

When I came to Miami, I made a research and a list of:

Places to visit in Miami and things to do in Miami:
  • Downtown Miami - CHECKED (Bayside area, Bayfront Park, American Airlines Arena - home of Miami Heat NBA team, Port of Miami - and the boat tour)

  • South Beach - CHECKED (Who doesn't know Miami Beach? Hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, all along the beach, stroll the Washington Ave, Ocean Drive, and Lincoln Road. Take a picture in front of the South Beach Monument Clock somewhere around the beach, visit Nikki Beach Club or other clubs or all the clubs, get a tattoo at Love Hate Tattoo from the Miami Ink TV show, and eat at Joe's Stone Crab)
  • North Miami Beach - CHECKED (I went to Haulover Beach where I saw nude beach for the first time)
  • Everglades National Park and the Alligator Farm - CHECKED
  • Vizcaya Museum and Gardens - CHECKED
  • Coral Castle
  • Fairchild Botanical Garden
  • Miami Beach Botanical Garden
  • Little Havana - CHECKED
  • Zoo Miami - CHECKED
