Rotaract Act Talk #22

On January 7th, 2015, I had an opportunity to share with Rotaract Jakarta Sentral RACTalk (where they invite speakers to talk about a topic). The topic for that night's RACTalk #22 was working in a start up or titled “Start Your Career in Start Up Business”. My good friend, Ricky Iskandar that I met through volunteering at Citra Pariwara years ago who happened to be the President of Rotaract Club Jakarta Sentral asked me to share a little about working in Blibur.com. I'm honored and even though I have only been working in a start up for 1,5 year but I'm happy to share what I know.

RACTalk Jakarta Sentral -  Act Talk #22

I met great fellows from Rotaract (or as called Rotaractor) and other guests (presenters) from another start up, Food Panda, TripVisto, and Carousell. It was nice to hear the presentations and get new knowledge and insight from professionals and share to people about our experience. The company we work for are digital / tech start ups. Our services are digital and internet based. I’m expecting to see growth in upcoming years from start up in Indonesia both local, international, or investments. I really love to see how we combine our creativity, ideas, and business nowadays and I can really see the potential in Digital / Tech Industry and I believe it will grow and leverage. (Only yesterday as I look around from inside my GrabCar while stuck in Sabang's traffic, I saw "bapak-bapak" dan "ibu-ibu" pedagang at the bus station were busy clicking their cellphone). I still need a lot to learn and I'm glad I had a great time being a part on the RACTalk #22 :)
